Peter J. Yanowitch is a Coral Gables attorney who has been working on his own Jazz compositions for many years. Over the past several years he has produced several recordings of his Jazz compositions. His first full fledged Jazz CD effort “Getting There” was recently recorded with the Quartet Fantastique at the Echo Beach Studios in Jupiter, Florida, and mixed at the Bennett Studios in Englewood, New Jersey. The Quartet Fantastique is a Jazz group comprised of current music students and recent graduates of the Frost School of Music, in Coral Gables, Florida. Landon Knoblock

Landon Knoblock is a creative pianist, an ambitious composer, and an adventurous improviser. His trio performs progressive compositions and exciting improvisations. Hailed as “a superb pianist” and “one of the young lions of jazz” by Ed Blanco of ejazznews.com, Landon’s music is passionate and spontaneous. Mark Hayes of 88.9 WDNA describes his performances as “introspective sophisticated jazz.”
Landon has been working in the South Florida area for eight years as a pianist, keyboardist, accompanist, musical director, and educator. Some notable performances include opening for the legendary Maynard Ferguson, playing with Grammy award winning Arturo Sandoval, and backing the critically acclaimed jazz vocalist Kevin Mahogany. Currently, Landon leads his own trio performing original composition and free music, and co-leads a creative music project called the Quartet Fantastique.
Landon holds a B.M. in Jazz Performance and a M.M. with Honors in Jazz Pedagogy from the University of Miami . While in attendance there, he had the opportunity to perform with such renowned jazz artists as Kurt Elling, Claudia Acuna, and John Riley. He also received two Downbeat Awards for his involvement in musical groups at the University.
Landon has just released his debut album, "Listening Between". The music is selected from Landon’s compositions and from improvised music created during the session, and is available on his website and on Itunes. You can buy his music directly at our Buy Music link.
