Miami Jazz Company welcomes you. Miami Jazz Company has several goals. We plan to introduce Jazz fans to the music of South Florida Jazz artists. We hope over time that this website will enable you to sample the music of an ever growing list of South Florida based Jazz artists, and will serve to keep you up to date on their new recordings, appearances and other pertinent news.

   
Miami Jazz Company also plans to promote excellence and opportunity in Jazz musical studies. It should be better known that Miami serves as a center for Jazz studies. Through the world class Jazz studies program at the Frost School of Music at the University of Miami, the South Florida area has attracted some of the best and brightest Jazz students from around the world. Miami Jazz Company intends to raise money and encourage others to donate to the general scholarship fund of the Frost School of Music to enable them to have the financial resources to continue their studies.

   Finally, Miami Jazz Company plans to establish a bridge between these talented South Florida based emerging Jazz students and the Jazz recording industry. After they complete their educational studies, young Jazz musicians need to establish a network of contacts in the Jazz industry to promote their careers. Miami Jazz Company hopes to develop a program of educational master seminars to help bridge the gap between the end of their educational studies and gaining a foothold in the music industry.
